Electrolysis
Electrolysis is a method of permanent hair removal that works by sending a very fine probe (similar in size to a hair) into the natural opening of the hair follicle. A small amount of electrical current is then applied to destroy the growth cells in the follicle so the hair can no longer grow.
Electrolysis is the only hair removal method approved by the FDA as permanent. It can be used on most areas of the body and is effective on all hair types and colors (unlike laser, which works best on dark hair).
Why We Offer Both Laser Hair Removal & Electrolysis
At our clinic, we know that no two clients—or their hair—are the same. That’s why we offer both laser hair removal and electrolysis. Each method has its own strengths, and by providing both, we can create a treatment plan that’s customized just for you.
Why Electrolysis
- The only FDA-approved method for permanent hair removal.
- Works on all hair colors—including blonde, red, gray, and white—that lasers can’t target.
- Ideal for small, precise areas such as the face, chin, or around the eyebrows.
